My name is Stephane, and I work for Bussola & Ralph, a company specialized in furniture manufacturing, interior decoration, and shop fitting. I am based in our Chinese facility in Shanghai.

We are currently preparing to supply lighting fixtures for projects in Korea, including low-voltage LED strips with aluminum profiles, cables, and transformers, for commercial applications such as furniture for retail shops.

However, the local regulation regarding KC certification is unclear to us. Could you please confirm whether each complete lighting fixture must be KC certified, or if low voltage lighting is exempted?
We understand that certification for transformers is mandatory, but we would like to clarify the requirements for the rest of our lighting.

We are seeking local guidance and support to ensure full compliance with Korean regulations in 2025.
In the past, we completed projects in Korea, but it appears that the regulations have evolved since then.
